As a globally distributed team, we deeply value the benefits of asynchronous work. However, we also recognize that the connections forged through synchronous collaboration are invaluable and integral to our culture.
To foster these connections, we host regular team-specific retreats throughout the year, culminating in one annual all-team retreat. These events blend strategic planning and goal-setting with technical or professional development workshops, hackathons, and team-building activities.
